Katie Watt is the founder of Katie Watt Interior Design & Decorating, a boutique interiors studio creating thoughtful, refined residential and commercial interiors with warmth, personality and an expert finish. A fully qualified interior designer and experienced painter and decorator with over 30 years’ experience, Katie brings both creative vision and practical know-how to every project. With a lifelong passion for interiors, her love of design began early age, watching home renovation programmes in the early 1990s to exploring show homes with her mum and has grown into a career centred on helping clients create spaces that feel truly their own.

Katie believes that every space should be more than beautiful; it should work effortlessly for the people who use it. Her approach is personal, attentive and collaborative, beginning with a careful understanding of how each client lives or works, what they love and how they want their space to support them. Whether a project is residential or commercial, large or small, old or new, Katie brings clarity, creativity and confidence to the design journey.

Her signature style combines considered colour, pattern, layered textures and lighting to create interiors that feel elevated yet liveable, sophisticated yet warm. Every detail is thoughtfully curated, from the first design conversation to the final finishing touch, resulting in spaces that are calm, balanced and deeply personal.
